Our story
Passwork began with a simple joy: the freedom to work from anywhere. Some days it’s the soft hum of a coffee shop, other days it’s the focus and structure of a coworking space. That daily autonomy, choosing the right setting for the mood and the mission, shaped everything we do.
Three years ago, I ran a specialty coffee shop. People came every day to work, think, and build connections.
We met digital nomads who stayed in Bucharest for weeks at a time, coding in the morning and exploring the city after work. Week by week, a community formed: strangers sharing tables, trading tips, grabbing lunch together, and sometimes planning a little city adventure at the end of the day.
Watching that community grow was the spark: smart working isn’t only about Wi-Fi and facilities; it’s about connection, rhythm, and places that make you feel productive and welcomed.
Why Passwork exists
